the other day on our walk was hawk day:

unfortunately, my phone doesn't take great shots.

but these are stunning birds.

so i'll take what i can get.

and last but not least, i took part one of anna aspnes's pen table class tonight.  she wants us to give up our mouse for a week.  eek.  grabbing my heart??  surfing for a week with a pen????
