another lazy day . . .

i think it has to do with the miasma of summer.  no energy.  no desire to do anything.  instead, i concentrated on filling my freezer back up and made a big pot of chipotle chicken chowder.  later this week, i will make and freeze some gravy.

it was kidlet's day off so she came over to watch netflix.  her wifi gets hooked up tomorrow.  nice to have company for the day.
