missing joanie . . .

we've been missing a hen for a quite awhile.  joanie's dad is not doing well.  he's 94 and smart as a tack but age is catching up with him and joanie has been doing what good little hens do and tending the nest.  all prayers and clucks gratefully accepted.

so it was just lee and i for lunch and we chose aunt catfish.  a place right along the river.  if you're a long time reader, you might remember my last visit there resulted in an ambulance ride and a hospital er visit.  oops.

but my fish and chips were good.

on the way home, i decided to stop at the honda store and test drive a 2016 CR-V.  i fell in love but the dealership and i were 1k apart and i left empty handed.  sigh.  if it were meant to be, it would have been.

home to demolish the rest of the eggplant parmesan and off to bed to watch the olympics.  yay!!!!
