and because I can't help myself. my PSA for today and everyday: get yourself checked. make an appointment with a dermatologist. go. slather on the sunscreen. stay out of noon day sun. melanoma is a tricky beast who strikes without rhyme or reason. do it for yourself. do it for your family. just do it!

That is my absolute all-time most favorite ever scene from any Christmas special I've watched in my lifetime!!! I remember seeing it on tv and oh, my...what an awesome thing to witness. David Bowie and Bing Crosby...to me it was pure genius to pair those two for that arrangement! I searched forever to find their duet and lucked into a DVD 9 yrs ago. And, of course, it is all the more memorable since that was the last Christmas special Bing Crosby ever did.
