See the pickets in the background? To help pay for the park, the town 'sold' pickets. Each purchased picket had it's owners name carved into it. We had to check and see if her's was still there. Some 15 years later, it was . . . and still surrounded by a bunch of her old elementary school friends. How cool is that?

I really like this one! The "clear" circle over Katie helps show movement to me...it makes sense in my head but I can't get it into words very well this morning...need more coffee! And how cool that her name and her classmates are all still there!
