zentangles make me happy.
took ninja my arthritic seven year old to the vet for what i thought was the last of her laser treatments but alas, although she is doing much, much better, she is still stove up and hurting. six more treatments on tap. she was on gabapentin but it made her so groggy i had to stop giving it to her. the 9TS was on gabapentin. things that make you go hum. anyway, i told the vet and now we have her on ferret juice. it doesn't make her groggy but still provides relief. yes, kidlet and i did a double take on the ferret juice as i envisioned little tiny trolls sitting on three legged stools milking ferrets and bottling it. have you ever smelled a ferret? they stink. too many hormones or something. it will gag you. well, that's the smell of these meds so the techs call it ferret juice and they hate when the vet orders it because when they make it up, their pharmacy area reeks. ninja apparently is immune to the aroma and so we have relief. k and i may have permanent close-pin marks on our noses.

Your bird is gorgeous! Can't wait to see it all colored in.
I useta baby-sit a couple who had THREE ferrets. Yeah, the stank would gag you as soon as you walked in the door. And I'd leave smelling like those foul things. I would always have to go straight home. No passing GO or collecting $200 and shower for the life of me. Hope Ninja feels better.
