happiness is . . .

an entire crew trimming my yard:

meet john.  this is his first time topping a tree and bringing it down to the ground.  he caught me taking pictures and asked me if i could send some to his fiancé.  she doesn't believe he makes a living in trees.  he's about 18.

this is steve.  he spiked his way to the top of the tree to trim some of the branches off the end.  he learned a new knot to hold the limb after it's cut free.

this is steve on the polecat taking the suckers off the oak out front.  ken and toothless are in the background.

love me a little chipper action.  look at that tree go.

just some of the equipment they used.  there was a little munchkin with big wide teeth to pick up the stumps too.

now i'm sure my neighbors hate me but what's a girl to do when mother nature nails her with a swift left hook.
