on my fifth load of laundry with more to come. and little spots of rust are showing up on clothes. the time has come, the walrus said, to break down and buy a new washing machine. i joined consumer report's web version so i can read their reviews. so far i've decided on a HE top loader. what brand is next to ponder. my current one had very high reviews. apparently rust is a + when buying a maytag.
fried eggplant sammie stuffed with sauteed zucchini, yellow crookneck squash, mushrooms, onions and garlic, topped with grated parmesan and balsamic reduction. bless t.j's heart, she tried it. kidlet brought home chicken fingers. lol.

A new water softener is in or future. It is leaking. After John JUST refilled it with salt. So in a month.....
