this is so me . . .

and, chalk another one up for me.  the fire alarm in the kitchen died.  not just dead battery dead, but dead-dead.  this of course made me happy when cooking something a little too long but for overall safety, not so much.

found a new one in the laundry cabinet, pulled up a chair and did my thing.  yay me!!!!  now if the house burns down, we'll hear about it.  note:  do not be holding one very small cat in your arms when the alarm is being tested.
