. . . I get into trouble. This time I wandered through the photography section of The Pioneer Woman's blog. She was explaining using hard light and the dodge and burn tools in Photoshop Elements to make a photograph more dynamic. So you know I had to play. Here is the SOOC . . straight out of the camera.


and this is what I came up with when I played around.



The general idea is that you saturate the colors deeply and then using the dodge tool to lighten and the burn tool to darken, to create your emotion. I think I like this.
