daily stuff . . .

Under the category of how to keep your husband occupied:

Snoopy. You remember this little fellow.

He's a freak. Always has been. Scared of his own shadow, terrified of noise, bewildered by human goings on . . . He needs his own safety zone. And he found one, up under the box springs of Katie's bed . . . when a corner of the covering came loose. But then Ninja and Bear followed his lead and they too started nesting in the framework. Soon what was Snoop's hammock hide-a-way, became a drooping sagging, sitting on the floor totally ruined cat hair infested rag. Snoop was not pleased.

So today, we flipped off the mattress, upended the box spring, pulled off the tattered covering and replaced it with an old sheet. We left a front door for Snoop . . . hopefully small enough to deter the 18 pound Bear from entering.

And then the 9TS reinforced the sides to keep it intact.

Snoop is happy, hidden from view once again. Snoring in peace.
